Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Audio One (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit our websites (audio-one.store, www.audio-one.store and any domain we operate) or contact us by phone, Facebook Messenger or Instagram.

We are a physical car audio, vehicle security and installation shop: 741 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910 · (619) 349-0304. Products and installations are handled in-store — our websites do not process online checkout or take payment card details.

We collect two kinds of information:

a) Automatic website data — gathered with analytics and advertising cookies: pages you view, time on page, referring site, country/city region, device and browser type, and an abbreviated IP address. This is used to understand which products and pages people care about, and to measure whether our ads work.

b) Information you send us — when you call, message us on Messenger or Instagram, or fill in an install/quote form: your name, phone number, vehicle make, model and year, the product you are interested in, and your preferred appointment time. We use it only to answer you, quote the job and reserve an install bay.

We do not collect payment card numbers, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Our sites use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking (including remarketing and conversion pixels). These services set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser to record how you reached the site, which pages you visited, and whether you contacted us.

Google uses cookies to serve and measure ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of these identifiers lets Google and its partners show ads based on your visits to our site. Information generated about your use of the site (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google may transfer this information to parties where required by law, or where those parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

Google’s advertising products we use: Google Ads (conversion and remarketing tags) and Google Analytics 4 (site measurement). Details about how Google uses data are at google.com/policies/privacy.

You can stop this measurement at any time, free of charge, using any of these:

• Google Ads Settings — control and turn off personalised Google Ads: adssettings.google.com
• Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on — blocks Analytics on this and every other site you visit: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
• Industry opt-out pages — aboutads.info/choices and digital advertising alliance choices
• Your browser — delete or block cookies in browser settings, or use private browsing. Blocking cookies does not stop you from browsing or calling us.
• Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control — where a browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request not to share or sell personal information.

Turning these off does not affect what you can buy in-store — it only means your visit is no longer measured for advertising.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to ask for it to be deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We do not sell or share personal information as those words are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We disclose limited information only to service providers that help us run the website and measure ads (Google), and we do not receive personal information from data brokers.

To make a request, call (619) 349-0304 or message us on Messenger or Instagram. We verify requests with the phone number or account you contact us from, and answer within 45 days.

Analytics and advertising data is retained by Google under its own settings (typically 14 months for event data). Enquiry and install-request messages are kept for as long as they are useful for customer service — normally up to 24 months — and then deleted.

We share information only with: Google (measurement and ads), our phone and messaging providers, and — only if you ask us to recommend an installer — the installer you choose. We do not sell personal information.

We keep reasonable technical and organisational safeguards on our website and limit access to enquiries to staff who need them. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Our site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this page as our tools or the law change. The date at the top shows the last revision; material changes will be announced on this page.
